A short film reimagining of Georges Méliès’ Les Cartes Vivantes (The Living Playing Cards). The production design combines virtual video backgrounds with traditional hand-painted freestanding flats in the foreground, using scenographic layering to bring the theatrical illusions of early silent cinema to life.
